TAC’s mission is to eliminate barriers to treatment for people with serious mental illness (SMI). Our vision is a world where every person with SMI receives timely and needed intervention and high-quality, continuous support and treatment.
Grading the States on Involuntary Treatment Laws
TAC has published a new report, Grading the States: An Analysis of U.S. Psychiatric Treatment Laws. This review of mental health treatment laws includes grades for all 50 states and the District of Columbia, highlighting areas for improvement while recognizing states that are advancing access to treatment for people experiencing serious mental illness with psychosis.
